Remote Control Spybots - birds, insects, etc

Careful! That may not be a real hummingbird at your bedroom window.

Companies like AeroVironment are developing spybots that look and act like insects and birds.
These bots are meant for use by the military.
Officials suggest they could be used by police and fire departments, too.
Although, I can't imagine why the fire department needs their camera to look like a hummingbird.

The upper left corner of the video is a feed from the Hummingbird's camera (located in it's belly).

The Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) is creating ways to use REAL insects (equipped with cameras and manipulated by electric stimulation) in the way the Hummingbird above can be used.
